Terra MIND Participated in the Research and Innovation Matchmaking Event 2026

Terra MIND participated in the Research and Innovation Matchmaking Event 2026, held on June 8–9 in Athens, at the Syngrou Estate in Marousi. The event brought together research institutions, universities, businesses, and innovation organizations from Greece and abroad, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas.

As part of the event, Terra MIND presented “AI Decision Engine for Climate-Resilient Irrigation,” focusing on a question that is becoming increasingly important in modern agriculture: How can technology and data be transformed into decisions that genuinely support farmers in the field?

Although today’s farmers have access to sensors, weather data, telemetry, and monitoring systems, fundamental questions remain unanswered: When should I irrigate? How much water is needed? And why is this the right decision?

During the presentation, Terra MIND also introduced its Diagnose – Decide – Act approach, which is designed to transform complex agricultural data into clear, explainable, and evidence-based irrigation decisions.

The audience responded very positively, with many participants highlighting the maturity of the proposed solution, its structured methodology, and its strong connection between advanced technology and the real needs of agricultural production.

Following the presentation, engaging discussions and exchanges of ideas took place with representatives from both the research and business communities, creating valuable networking opportunities and laying the foundation for future collaborations.

Participating in the Research and Innovation Matchmaking Event 2026 was a highly rewarding experience and another important opportunity for Terra MIND to share its vision: bringing innovation closer to the field—and to the people who work in it every day.
